About our dojo

Dojo literally means the place to train in the Way. For us it also means the community we co-create, supporting each other in our growth and learning, on the mats and off.

What is Aikido?

A martial art that started in Japan, and was explicitly designed for self-defence and self-development. It is a whole body work-out, making use of timing and alignment rather than physical strength and size. A practice to help free the body and mind.
