Aikido is a dynamic martial art for self-defence and self-development. Aikido literally means the way of harmonizing universal energy. It's good whole-body exercise and so much more. A training for mind, body and spirit, that both grounds and opens us, to a compassionate and authentic way of relating to ourselves, each other, and the world.

Dojo literally means the place to train in the Way. For us it also means the community we co-create, supporting each other in our growth and learning, on the mats and off.

What is Aikido?

Founded by Morihei Ueshiba in Japan. Designed for spiritual development and self-defence. It is a whole body work-out, making use of timing and alignment rather than physical strength and size. A practice to help free the body and mind.
